We covered a variant of this step back in Tribe so you may have already got this set up.

If you skipped this step back in Tribe then I’d recommend deploying it now.

Previously we used this integration as an optional way to get people from Audience into Tribe. Now we’re using it to get customers into the newsletter.

Why is this important? People who have purchased from us are the most likely to purchase again in the future. We want these high value prospects in our newsletter list!

Therefore this integration is now a lot more valuable.

Thankfully we can connect Gumroad directly into beehiiv.

You’ll need:

• Gumroad account

• Zapier account

• beehiiv account

Grab a free Zapier account if you don’t have one and log in.

Make sure you are also logged into both your Gumroad and beehiiv account.

Open up Zapier and create a new zap.

The first step is this:

The Trigger is Gumroad > Sale.

Connect your Gumroad account. This will be automatic as long as you are logged into Gumroad. Zapier will provide you with instructions.

And select “All product sales” so that any and all sales get sent to your newsletter.

The Action is beehiiv > Create a Subscriber:

Zapier will provide instructions of how to set up this connection. You will need a paid beehiiv account to make this work.

This basic integration will ensure that anyone who makes a purchase from you is added back into the newsletter.

And what if they were already in the newsletter list? No problem - Zapier will see this and nothing will happen.
