We’re here - now it’s time to start selling!

We’re now at the O (Offer) stage of the BATON framework.

As a recap BATON stands for:

  • Business

  • Audience

  • Tribe

  • Offer

  • Network

We’ve already worked out your Business niche, built an Audience on X and started to fill your Tribe via the newsletter.

You’ve done all the hard work already - this means this Module on creating and selling your Offer will be much easier than if you had tried to sell before all this important foundational work.

There are a number of different ways we can develop and deploy our Offer.

  1. Create a Product.

  2. Offer a Service.

  3. Build a shared resource that you rent access to.

  4. Charge a subscription.

  5. Charge advertisers for access to your Tribe and Audience.

And more.

We are going to focus on digital products : how to plan, build and market products that you can sell online.

This one is near to my heart as my first proper online business was digital products.

Digital products are fantastic because once you’ve created them they continue to sell on autopilot. It’s the closest we get to “passive income”.

It’s a great feeling to wake up in the morning with phone notifications telling you of new sales.

Don’t let that fool you though - there’s still work required to plan, create and market the product. You know I don’t lie to you.

But the process we’ll cover in this Module, combined with all your prior work, will make deploying a product much simpler!
