First up the newsletter description. Here’s the prompt:

If any of the titles take your fancy go ahead and tell ChatGPT “I like number #. Give me more like that.”
ChatGPT will then generate more in the same vein. Repeat this with the ones you like until you find a few titles that jive with you.
Once you have 3-4 head over to X and put it up for a vote using an X poll. Your audience know best and they’ll be the ones signing up! This is also a great chance to tease the fact that you are preparing a newsletter!
For the description again use this as a jumping off point. Adjust your newsletter description as required. Remember that you can always change this later so don’t get too hung up on it.
Refine your description until you are happy with the basic shape of it.
Then as a useful exercise ask ChatGPT to condense to a single sentence. This will be a good indicator of whether the idea is simple and succinct enough to be captured in a single sentence.
You’ll also need a single sentence description for your beehiiv newsletter description.
When you are happy add your newsletter title and single sentence description in beehiiv Settings > Publication.
