Next Steps in AI Entrepreneurship

In the fast-paced world of AI entrepreneurship, navigating the complexities of building a successful business can feel daunting.

Chapter 1

Keep on track

I’ve gone through divorce, depression and deaths whilst building a business. And cycling between being (very) wealthy and having to sell my guitar to pay rent.

It’s…part of the game. And it’s the part that very few people - especially online - talk about.

The difficulty isn't a bug in the system. It's the feature. The reason why there are disproportionate rewards in entrepreneurship isn't because it's easy and everyone can do it. It's because it's brutally hard and most people quit exactly when things get difficult.

That difficulty creates the opportunity. The failures, the setbacks and the difficulties - they're not obstacles to success. They're the price of admission to a game most people aren't willing to play.

This week is all about getting you set up to do one thing and one thing only: stay in the game.

Let's get started:

Summary

Keep on track

  • Real consistency is recovery speed, not perfection

  • Difficulty creates opportunity by filtering out quitters

  • Document struggles, not just wins

  • Each cycle gets faster through audience compound effects

  • This week: staying in the game

The Real Consistency Equation

Most people think consistency looks like this:

Perfect daily execution + Steady progress + Predictable results = Success

That's complete bollocks.

Real consistency looks like this:

Idea fails → Quick recovery → Try again faster → Compound advantages

I’ve had 30+ business ideas. The vast majority fail.

Each one that didn’t work felt like a massive failure at the time. Of course it did! You put your heart and soul into each business and when they don’t work it feels like you (not just the business) failed.

BUT each one taught me something that made the next attempt faster and better.

The Compound Effect of Cycles

At the end of this AI Summer Camp 80%+ of you will have ideas that didn’t take off.

That’s fine. It’s to be expected honestly. If it worked first time - amazing! But it’s unlikely!

Because what you’ve learned over these 2 months has been the real win. It’s cliched but true - it’s the journey rather than the destination that matters. You’ve now learned a HUGE number of skills.

You can apply these to continuing and scaling your current idea. You can pivot it into something a little different. Or you can straight up start something fresh. Any which way you’ll be in a strong position.

Treat this as cycles. You’ve just done a 10 week cycle. And now you’ve done it once the next cycle can be a lot faster. Here’s an example - be aware it won’t match your journey! - that is helpful to visualise this.

First cycle (AI Summer Camp): 10 weeks to build something from scratch.

  • You learn the fundamentals

  • You build your first audience

  • You prove the model works

  • Maybe you sold $100 of product. Maybe. Maybe not.

Second cycle: 8 weeks to £1k/month

  • You already have an audience watching your journey

  • You know what works and what doesn't

  • You skip the obvious mistakes

  • Your documentation gets better

  • It takes you 8 weeks this time rather than 10.

Third cycle: 4 weeks to another £1k/month

  • Bigger audience, more credibility

  • Pattern recognition from previous cycles

  • Network effects from people who followed your first journeys

  • You stack another £1000/month coming in - beginning to replace your income.

Fourth cycle: 2 weeks to +£1k/month

  • You think of a quick additional product you can add to your existing stack and deploy it fast

  • People pay attention to what you're working on - you have a track record

  • You can move from idea to execution to revenue way faster

Fifth cycle: 1 week to +£1k/month

  • Your audience is your distribution

  • You have a cool idea and just give it a shot. Why not?

  • Your audience laps it up and you’ve stacked another income source in

This isn't theoretical. This is exactly what happened to me between 2023 and 2025. Each cycle got faster because the audience compound effect meant each new project started with distribution instead of starting from zero.

You start to stack projects. Stack audience. Stack income. And it gets easier and easier and easier each time.

Why Documenting Failures Builds Your Brand

Here's something counterintuitive: success stories are boring. When you just talk about how brilliantly everything is going, people tune out. It's gross boasting, and everyone can smell it.

It’s a part of why LinkedIn is so terrible.

Connection comes from seeing yourself in others. When I share stories questioning everything, wondering if I should just get a normal job - that's when people message me saying "I felt exactly like that last month."

The hero's journey isn't "everything was great, then it got greater." Dull. It's struggle, failure, learning, growth, setback, recovery, breakthrough. That's the story people want to follow.

This is why you want to document everything publicly. Not just the £300k revenue months, but the months where I made nothing. Not just the successful product launches, but the ones that crashed and burned. Not just the confident moments, but the 2am doubts about whether any of this matters.

Your audience doesn't grow because you're successful. It grows because you're human..

Your Day 46 Deliverable

Complete your own consistency analysis:

  1. List your "failures" from the last 46 days - ideas that didn't work, posts that flopped, approaches that failed

  2. Extract the lessons - what did each failure teach you that made the next attempt better?

  3. Document one failure publicly

The goal isn't to feel good about your failures. It's to weaponise them into content, connection, and credibility. Then suddenly any failures and setbacks … aren’t. They are content. Which helps build an audience. Which helps with your next project. VERY different.

Build in Public Content

Share your learning from setbacks:

"Day 46 of AI Summer Camp: How it’s been going.

Just sat down and reviewed all my work.

Turns out I've had 12 ideas that didn't work in the last 40 days. Is that bad? No.

The people who quit hide their failures. The people who win learn from them

Here's what failure #12 taught me... [share specific lesson]

What's your most recent 'failure' that actually taught you something valuable?"

What's Next?

Tomorrow we tackle the thing that trips up most entrepreneurs: dealing with the inevitable difficulties that make you want to quit. You'll learn why finding your tribe isn't optional, and how to access expert help when you're stuck.

Chapter 2

Your Day 47 Deliverable

Three months ago, I decided to start taking Youtube seriously. Problem was, I had absolutely no idea how to begin.

Building these networks takes time. If you want to accelerate the process, I've created something that might help.

I actually have a WhatsApp group brings together entrepreneurs who are building AI-powered businesses. These are people going through exactly what you're going through - dealing with the technical challenges, market uncertainty, and isolation that comes with being early to AI.

It's not a course or coaching program. It's less structured. More freestyle. A place to chat with peers basically. We share wins, troubleshoot problems, and remind each other that we're not crazy for believing AI changes everything. Sometimes that reminder is all you need to keep going.

If that sounds like something you need, reply to this email and we’ll send you details.

Your Day 47 Deliverable

Build your support system foundation:

  1. Find a local group - Search for entrepreneur groups in your local area. Supper groups, breakfast clubs and the like are my favourite but they come in all shapes and sizes.

  2. Find a meetup - Look specifically for AI, tech, or innovation meetups. If none exist, consider starting one

  3. Ask an online connection - Reach out to someone you follow or have connected with online and ask: "Do you know of any WhatsApp groups (or similar) for people building AI businesses?"

Don't try to do everything at once. Start with one connection and build from there.

Build in Public Content

Share your support system building:

"Day 47 of AI Summer Camp: Learning I don't have to do this alone.

Been grinding solo for weeks. Finally reaching out for help and community.

Building my support system: local meetups, online communities, expert network.

Who else is building in AI and feeling like they're doing it alone? Let's connect."

What's Next?

Tomorrow we’re looping back to audience growth - the multiplier that makes everything else easier. We covered this in depth early on in the AI Summer Camp. And you’ve been working on it for 2 months - so we’ll do a check in and flesh out your future plan.

Keep Prompting,

Kyle

Chapter 3

Audience Growth Makes Everything Easier

I remember the exact moment everything changed for me.

I'd been posting AI content for about four or five months. Grinding away, posting daily, seeing slow but steady growth. Wanting to give up every few days.

Then I posted a simple TikTok about “how to use ChatGPT” - nothing revolutionary, just a straightforward tutorial. One take. Just chatting to camera.

The video hit 500K views overnight.

Then several million over the weekend.

And I had no idea why it was this particularly video. I’ve since talked to other content creators who “blew up” and they all say the same thing. They’d have a piece of content kick off out of the blue after them putting in the work steadily for months (or even years).

And for all of them it changes their lives.

What you are building isn't just followers - it’s a distribution engine that opens doors.

Let's get started:

Summary

Dealing with difficulties

  • Why audience remains your most valuable business asset

  • The brutal truth about getting your first 1K followers

  • Experiments for scaling from 1K to 100K

Audience Growth Makes Everything Easier

Now, you might be wondering why I'm reiterating audience building when we covered this in Week 2.

Here's why: because this is the most important business asset you can grow moving forward. Everything else - your product, your systems, your revenue - can be replicated. Your audience cannot.

Remember the cycle I mentioned earlier this week? Create → Build audience → Launch easier → Better partnerships → More revenue → Create better → Repeat.

That cycle only works if you have the distribution infrastructure in place. Without audience, you're starting from zero every single time. With audience, each iteration gets easier because you have people who already trust you and are waiting to see what you build next. It’s basically the glue that holds everything else together.

Real examples of how audience changes everything:

Launching becomes easier. Instead of cold outreach and paid ads, you have people genuinely excited about what you're building. My £500k+ revenue last year? Almost entirely from the audience I built through content. We are only just experimenting with paid advertising now. There has been no need.

Partnerships find you. When you're highly visible in your niche, other businesses approach you for collaborations. I get 2-3 partnership requests weekly now - opportunities I never would have known existed without audience. I don’t have to chase them.

Credibility accelerates. Being "the AI person" in your space means people assume you know what you're talking about. That assumption opens conversations that would take months to earn otherwise. Basically you no longer have to kick doors open. They are already open when you get to them!

Ideas validate faster. Post a concept, get immediate feedback. No need for expensive market research when your audience tells you exactly what they want. I’ve written a whole playbook on just this - the ability to rapid fire test (and terminate!) ideas without having to fully commit to a launch.

The compound effect is real, but it's invisible while you're building it. And it feels REALLY hard. That's why most people quit before the magic happens.

This extra lesson is basically a reminder of what we covered in Week 2 to reiterate the importance!!

Stay in the Game until 1,000 Followers

This is crucial: do not chase shiny objects now.

You're 48 days in. You've built momentum. You understand your market. You have content that works.

You’ve been (I hope) posting regularly. If you haven’t btw don’t worry. That doesn’t mean you have failed and it’s time to give up. Nope. Quite the opposite. Now is the best time for you to start posting again. And this time you won’t stop right?

We are basically going to continue as we are until we hit 1,000 followers. That’s the first benchmark.

Any particular reason? Not really. It’s a round number. 4 figures. It seems significant.

In the groups I’m in we tend to celebrate 1,000, 10,000, 100,000 as big goals. They just feel right. And that 1,000 is your first goal to hit.

To do this you need to stay the course and keep doing what is working. The worst thing you could do right now is start over with a different strategy, platform, or niche.

I see this constantly - entrepreneurs who build for months, start seeing results, then get distracted by some new approach or platform. They abandon their progress to chase the next "hack." Nope - keep doing what works.

What to ignore:

  • New AI tools promising to automate your content

  • Different platforms where "all the growth is happening now"

  • Gurus selling "viral growth secrets"

  • Advice to pivot because someone else's niche looks easier

What to double down on:

  • The content types that got engagement

  • The platform where you're already building

  • The niche where you're establishing authority

  • The posting schedule you can actually maintain

There are no shortcuts. None. I'm sorry, but it's just a grind. If it’s any consolation I’m now repeating the grind on other platforms like Instagram and Youtube which were not priorities!

You'll post daily for months feeling like you're talking to yourself. You'll create content that gets 12 views and wonder why you're bothering. You'll see others blow up overnight (with worse content) and question everything you're doing.

This is normal. This is the price of admission.

But here's what I promise you: there will be a post that pops off and takes you there. One video, one piece of content that catches the algorithm at the right moment and introduces you to thousands of new people. You can't predict when it happens, but consistency makes it inevitable. Basically by showing up and doing the work.

My breakthrough came after four months of daily posting. Some people hit it in six weeks. Others take eight months. But everyone who sticks with it eventually gets their moment. There’s some examples of people who stuck with it on this page, and their results.

From 1K to 100K: The Experiment Phase

Let’s look beyond. Some of you will have hit 1,000 already. And for those who aren’t there quite yet here’s a preview.

Once you hit 1K followers, everything changes. You're no longer just proving (to yourself mainly!) you can create content - you're optimising for scale. This is where smart experimentation becomes crucial.

Why experiments matter at each stage:

1K-5K: Content Format Experiments You have enough audience to get meaningful data on what works. Prior to this we didn’t really have enough audience in play for our data to mean much of anything. Test different content lengths, posting times, and formats. The key insight: don't just look at views, look at profile visits and follows. Views are vanity, we want engagement. A video with 50K views that generates 10 new followers is worse than a video with 10K views that generates 100 new followers.

Experiment to run: Post the same core message in 3 different formats (for example carousel, video, text post if you are using IG) and track conversion to followers, not just engagement.

5K-20K: Collaboration Experiments Your audience is big enough that other creators want to work with you. Test different types of collaborations: joint content, guest appearances, cross-promotion. Learn which partnerships actually grow your audience vs. just borrowing someone else's.

Experiment to run: Do one collaboration per week for a month. Track follower growth, engagement changes, and audience quality. Some collabs will attract the wrong audience. This can be off your platform btw - for example podcasts. It’s a nice way to dip your toes.

20K-50K: Platform Extension Experiments Now you can afford to test new platforms because you have a proven system. Don't abandon your main platform - extend to it. Repurpose your best content and see which platforms amplify your message.

Experiment to run: Choose one new platform. Commit to 30 days of posting your top content there. Measure not just growth, but audience overlap and engagement quality. You may need to switch to new formats and content styles. Start with simple repurposing (as that’s easiest!) and if it doesn’t work begin wider experiments.

50K-100K: Premium Content Experiments Your audience is large enough to support paid offerings. Test what they'll pay for: courses, communities, workshops, consulting. Start small and scale what works. You can also start to charge reasonable (4 figure) amounts for sponsorships allowing for direct monetisation.

Experiment to run: Create a small paid offering (£20-50) and see what percentage of your audience converts. This tells you about both audience quality and commercial potential. Also experiment with sponsors that are aligned with your brand and you personally. At this sort of level you can charge a few thousand for a sponsored post making it a nice extra cash flow option.

The Long Game That Most People Quit

Think of authority building as a 2-3 year game, not a 2-3 month sprint. And remember that you are using this as the foundation for your wider business. Or even multiple businesses.

Most people expect this progression to happen in months. It takes years. Realign expectations.

Year 1: Establish consistency and competence. Post regularly, solve problems, build trust. Focus on being helpful over being famous. This is mainly about you getting into good habits and learning.

Year 2: Develop unique perspectives and deeper expertise. Start having original thoughts about industry trends. Create frameworks and methodologies. Become known for specific approaches. You’re creating IP at this point not just content for the sake of it.

Year 3: Become a thought leader who shapes conversations. People reference your ideas. Other experts cite your work. You influence how your industry thinks about AI. Start getting on stage (if you haven’t already) and expanding out your reach.

The long game wins because most people quit playing it. They see slow growth in months 3-6 and jump to a different strategy. But the compound effect only kicks in if you stay consistent long enough for it to matter. This dooms the flip-floppers to never reaching a breakthrough.

Your 48 days of building? You're still in the foundation phase. It’s an amazing start but realise that the magic happens when you keep going for months 4-12.

Your Day 48 Actions

Here's what you're doing today:

Simple one today: Keep posting.

That's it. Don't overthink it. Don't audit everything. Don't plan elaborate experiments. That comes later.

Build in Public Content

Share your audit and commitment:

""Day 48 of AI Summer Camp: The grind continues!

Still building my audience daily. No shortcuts, no hacks. And I’m ok with that.

Reminded myself today that this is the most important asset I can build. Everything else gets easier when you have distribution!

Committing to another 90 days of daily posting."

(FYI if you need assistance with what to talk about each day my AI Authority Accelerator takes everything I've learned building 250K+ followers and condenses it into a systematic 30-day program. It's designed for people who are already building but want to scale faster and smarter. Check it out if you're ready to turn your content creation into a proper growth engine.)

What's Next?

Tomorrow we’ll explore how to multiply your revenue from £1K to £10K monthly by leveraging the foundation you've built. It’s all about scaling.

Keep Prompting,

Kyle

Chapter 4

The Revenue Stacking Framework

The numbers. Always interesting. Here are mine with my AI education business,.

First $1: took 3 months of building and grinding. Finally sold something, anything, to prove it could work. Pure experimentation with no promise of return.

First £1,000: about another month once I had momentum. That first sale broke the seal.

First £10,000: 2 months later. The foundation was built, now it was about stacking revenue streams.

First £100,000: 3 more months after that. Multiple streams all feeding the same core business.

Now? I regularly turn £100K months. Not on autopilot (I wish) but with less effort than you’d assume.

To make £100,000 in a month isn’t about working 100,000 times harder than when I made my first pound. Thankfully! Instead we do it by building on our foundation and stacking revenue streams.

The foundation you've built over these 49 days? It's not just distribution for one product. It's infrastructure for an entire business ecosystem that can scale to serious cash.

Let's get started:

Summary

Dealing with difficulties

  • Scaling from £1 to £100K months

  • Immediate revenue bumps

  • Best cash injection method

The Revenue Stacking Framework

Revenue grows not by working harder, but by stacking streams that all support each other. We can be strategic about it. Here’s one pathway:

Level 1: Content + Core Product . This is where you are right now. Your content attracts people, your core product converts them. This is where everyone starts. You've got this foundation built after 49 days.

Level 2: Core + Recurring Your core product becomes the entry point to recurring revenue. This creates predictable income and lead generation for higher ticket offers.

Level 3: Add High-Ticket Services Slap on consulting, implementation, done-for-you services for your best customers. Same expertise, premium pricing for personalised delivery. £1000-5000+ per client instead of £20/month.

Level 4: Teaching & Corporate Scale your expertise through workshops, corporate training, and teaching others to deliver your methodology. Basically scaling up the ladder of providing your expertise.

Remember that this is all built on your industry experience. That’s where we started. And where we are delivering value ultimately. There are many ways to deploy this - products, services, consulting, teaching, content and more. It all stems from the same core of value.

And each level builds on the previous one. You're not starting over - you're adding layers that all reinforce your core business. It’s not random accretion but instead about delivering that same value but in lots of different formats.

Also - and this is a reminder from earlier in the AI Summer Camp - this isn't about what YOU want to build. It's about what YOUR MARKET wants to buy. Remember this! The market decides what they'll pay for, not you. Just as relevant as we start to scale up.

Fast Cash Injection Strategy

You're at a great inflection point right now. You've built an audience around AI and your specific industry. You have expertise. You understand problems and solutions relevant to the industry. Super valuable intel.

There’s a way you can immediately make good cash from this. Like…very good cash.

You can go directly into companies in your industry and give AI workshops. The pay is $1000/hour ++ for your time but more importantly it opens up more avenues for your business.

I'll be honest - I'm biased here! Teaching is what I do, and it's transformed my business. But let me show you why it works so well:

Teaching creates immediate cash injection. $1000+ per hour for workshops whilst your other revenue streams are still growing. The most I’ve charged is ~$4000 for an hours work - my normal rate is $1500-2000/hour. Cash like this gives you breathing room and runway to build everything else properly. You aren’t in scarcity mode any more once you can make your income in a couple hours a month.

Teaching opens doors faster than anything else. When you're known as someone who teaches AI to your industry, opportunities find you. Partnerships, speaking gigs, consulting contracts.

Teaching builds authority automatically. People assume teachers know more than practitioners. Your expertise gets amplified just by teaching it. When you go and teach at a company you become their “AI guy” and the first port of call for follow up work.

Teaching generates sales. Off the back of being an educator you’ll naturally make more sales of your core product. Especially if you build a sales hook directly into the education (see the prompt below).

FYI I now have 100+ students doing exactly this through my AI Workshop Kit. They're generating £2K-10K months just from teaching AI workshops in their industries.

Here's why teaching works so well right now:

Every business knows they need AI. It’s non-negotiable. And (yay for us) most have no idea how to start. They'll pay premium rates for someone who can bridge that gap in their specific industry.

That’s amazing news for you because you are sitting between i) the world of AI and ii) the world of your industry. You just need to step up as the translator and guide.

And powerfully you're not competing with generic AI experts from McKinsey etc. You're the AI person who understands your niche. You know what they need to know. What stories and metaphors they’ll grok. That specificity is worth serious money.

How to Start: Design Your First Workshop

The key is creating a 1-hour taster workshop that demonstrates value and leads directly to your core offering. Here's the framework:

You are a workshop design specialist helping someone create their first AI workshop. Design a 1-hour taster session that leads to sales.

Background:
- Your expertise: [AI + Your specific industry]
- Your audience: [Business owners/professionals in your industry]
- Your core product/service: [What you want them to buy next]
- Your main value proposition: [The key problem you solve]

Create a workshop structure that includes:

1. WORKSHOP POSITIONING:
   - Workshop title that attracts your ideal client
   - 2-3 sentence description that creates urgency
   - Clear promise of what they'll achieve in 60 minutes

2. CONTENT STRUCTURE:
   - Opening: Problem agitation (10 minutes)
   - Core teaching: 3 key insights they can implement immediately (30 minutes)
   - Case study/demonstration: Proof it works (10 minutes)
   - Next steps: Clear path to your core offering (10 minutes)

3. LEAD GENERATION DESIGN:
   - How this workshop qualifies prospects for your main offer
   - Specific calls-to-action that feel natural
   - Follow-up sequence for attendees

4. DELIVERY LOGISTICS:
   - Platform recommendations for hosting
   - Pricing strategy for first workshop
   - How to promote to your existing audience

5. SCALING PATHWAY:
   - How to turn this into corporate training
   - Ways to create train-the-trainer opportunities
   - Revenue potential at different scales

Make this specific to their industry and directly connected to their core business offering.

This specific workshop will bridge the gap between teaching and selling your core product. But you can also get paid to go and teach the workshop itself. You get paid to sell! We like that!

The AI Workshop Kit Path

If you want to accelerate this entire process, I've created something specifically for people in your position.

The AI Workshop Kit gives you everything you need to start generating £2K-10K months through AI workshops: proven frameworks, ready-made slides, marketing materials, and step-by-step guidance.

I've got 100+ students already doing this successfully - generating serious revenue whilst building their authority and expanding their businesses.

But here's the thing - I don't want to sell you anything right now. I want you to understand the opportunity first.

I run free webinars where I'll show you exactly how this works: the workshop frameworks, the pricing strategies, the corporate training progression, and real case studies from students getting results.

You can register here - it's completely free and there's no obligation to buy anything. Just me sharing what's working right now for AI entrepreneurs like you.

Whether you use my materials or create your own, the teaching opportunity is massive right now. Every business needs AI expertise, and you've spent 49 days building exactly that.

Your Day 49 Action

Design your first 1-hour workshop using the prompt above.

Focus on one specific problem your audience has with AI in their industry. Make it practical, immediately useful, and naturally lead to your core offering.

Don't overthink it. Test it with 5-10 people from your audience first, gather feedback, then scale what works.

Build in Public Content

Share your workshop plans:

"Day 49 of AI Summer Camp: Time to spread the knowledge!

49 days of building audience and expertise. Now turning that into teaching opportunities!

Creating a 1-hour workshop on [Your specific topic] for [Your industry]. Testing with my audience first, then scaling to corporate training."

What's Next?

Tomorrow is our final day: Day 50!

Woah.

We’ll have a bit of a celebration. As well you should for getting this far. And we’ll talk about how to stay current with AI developments (because this field moves fast).

You've built the foundation. You've planned the expansion. Tomorrow we make sure you stay ahead of the curve as everything evolves.

One more day. Onwards and upwards!

Keep Prompting,

Kyle

Chapter 5

Wrapping up and moving forward

I know exactly when a new big AI model release is coming.

It’s a superpower. And a curse.

I know because it happens everytime I get on a plane to enjoy a holiday away.

The most hilarious was when I was literally taxiing at Heathrow, about to takeoff, and GPT-4 dropped.

Every. Damn. Time.

Because the pace of change in AI is incessant.

Another model. Another set of capabilities to learn. Another shift in what's possible. Another round of "is my expertise still relevant?" Great vibe to take on holiday!

Then I remember something crucial: I'm not trying to be the smartest AI person in the room. I'm trying to be the most helpful AI person to my industry.

That changes everything.

When GPT-4 launched, I didn't panic about learning every new feature. I asked: "How does this help the people I talk to work faster?" When Midjourney v6 dropped, I didn't stress about mastering every parameter. I focused on: "What can my students do with this?"

The AI field will never stop evolving. That's not a bug - it's a feature. Your job isn't to know everything about AI. It's to stay current enough to build your business and do well in the world of AI.

Let’s get started:

Summary

Wrapping up and moving forward

  • staying current » cutting-edge

  • keeping on top of AI advances

  • Your 50-day journey reflection and achievements

It’s a bitter-sweet day. It’s the end of the 50 day AI Summer Camp. And you’ve come a long long way. We’re wrapping up now with some tips on staying in the loop so that you can continue your AI entrepreneurship journey.

You don’t need me anymore! You’re super well equipped for whatever AI is going throw at us. The key is just staying on top of everything in a sensible way that doesn’t overwhelm us.

Staying Current vs. Staying Cutting-Edge

You do not need to know everything going on in AI. AI is a broad field - much broader than even genAI (ie. LLMs like ChatGPT). So already we’re focusing our attention - the current “modern” AIs are really a very small subset of the larger field of AI.

We’re just going to constrain our focus even more. We’ll focus on what parts of AI makes sense for our industry and business. And tune out the rest.

Staying cutting-edge means knowing every new model, every feature update, every technical advancement. It's exhausting, expensive, and largely irrelevant to your audience and customers.

Heck, even I can’t do this and I’m pretty much living and breathing this stuff on the day to day. And I talk to other content creators and AI entrepreneurs and they are exactly the same - there’s no way to drink from the firehose of information in a meaningful way.

Staying current means understanding which developments actually impact your industry. It's focused, practical, and directly valuable to your audience. What specifically is important for your business?

And easy example - does your product use AI imagery in any way? Nope - it’s purely text based? Sweet: we can ignore a lot of the updates on diffusion models and the like. It’s just not in our wheelhouse and that’s fine!

This means your approach should be:

Industry-first, not AI-first. When new AI tools launch, your first question isn't "What can this do?" It's "How does this help my audience and customers?" Useful reframe that immediately filters out noise.

Practical filter over everything. You (probably!) don't need to deeply understand transformer architecture. It’s cool. And fun to learn about. But will it ultimately help the people you serve? Your customers? Probably not!

Translation over technical knowledge. Remember that your value isn't knowing how AI works. It's knowing how to make AI work for your particular industry.

This mindset shift is liberating. You're not competing with AI researchers or technical experts. By all means read their work - it’s fascinating and thought provoking. But don’t compare yourself to them unnecessarily. We’re doing something different to them!

Your AI Learning Stack

Here's the exact stack that will put you ahead of 99.99% of people. Probably 99.999%.

For AI insights and research:

For staying current with developments:

For understanding how this stuff actually works:

This stuff is mainly optional and (unless you are building AIs) non-practical. It is however fascinating!

For daily news and Q&A:

  • Join me on my daily lives on TikTok and YouTube where I run through the news, sort fact from fiction, separate noise from signal, and answer your questions directly.

That's it. I did sneak a handful of my own resources in there - sorry, I had to! This stack will give you deeper understanding than 99.99% of people talking about AI.

Most importantly: avoid the hype. It’s hard - but over time as you follow what’s happening you’ll realise what’s noise and what’s signal.

Your 50-Day Achievements

That’s the future. But let’s take a moment to step back and look at where we’ve come in the last 6 weeks.

What you've built:

  • Validated business idea

  • Foundations of a distribution infrastructure through your audience

  • Revenue systems that can scale in play

  • Started to build recognised expertise in your industry

What you've proven (to yourself!):

  • You can identify real market problems

  • You can build solutions people will pay for

  • You can attract and convert customers

  • You can adapt and learn as things change

This isn't just programme completion - it's proof you can build profitable businesses in the AI economy.

Remember: whether or not your are making $1000/month right now is not important.

Because we’ve learned the process. And we’re going to keep building. The habit of building is more important than the result. Because with that habit in place we’ll get to our results. And beyond.

Choose based on what energises you: building products, teaching people, or both.

(If teaching appeals, my AI Workshop Kit gets you started immediately. If building, my AI Authority Accelerator accelerates audience growth. Both are natural next steps.)

Your Day 50 Action

Celebrate.

Genuinely take a moment to sit back and look at where you’ve come from and where you are now.

Have a beer. A slice of cake. Or a spa day. Whatever tickles your fancy. As long as its celebratory.

Build in Public Content

Share your completion and commitment:

"Day 50 of AI Summer Camp: Programme complete!

50 days ago: Zero audience, no product, unclear direction Today: [give an update of what you’ve built]

This is just the foundation. Excited for the future.

But that’s tomorrow. Today I’m celebrating: [tell us how]”

Final Thoughts

Fifty days ago, you started with an idea and some ambition. Hell, maybe you didn’t even have an idea!

Today, you finish with a basic business, an audience, and expertise that sets you apart. It’s a BIG journey.

But the most important thing you've gained isn't the business metrics or the revenue streams. It's the confidence that you can spot opportunities, build solutions, and create value in a rapidly changing world. You’re riding the AI wave instead of watching it fearfully from the beach.

AI will continue evolving. New tools will launch. Markets will shift. Opportunities will emerge and disappear. The only constant is change and all that!

You're ready for it.

You've proven you can learn, build, and adapt. You've shown you can create value for real people with real problems. You've demonstrated that you can turn expertise into income and impact.

The AI economy is just getting started. And now, so are you! It’s exciting.

Keep building. Keep learning. Keep growing.

Most importantly, keep prompting.

It's been an honour guiding you through these 50 days. Now go show the world what you can build.
