From chess to Go to driving, each time AI masters something we previously thought required human intelligence, we dismiss it as "not real intelligence" because a computer can do it. This pattern suggests we won't recognize AGI when it arrives because we lack a clear definition of human intelligence itself, and we're psychologically incapable of admitting when something surpasses us - much like a chicken can't comprehend human intelligence.
