Deloitte Australia just had to refund part of a $440,000 government contract because their consultants copied ChatGPT output without checking it, submitting reports filled with hallucinations and made-up scholars. AI can now generate almost anything, but judgment to evaluate outputs and taste to recognize quality work are becoming the most valuable skills, and most people are losing these abilities by relying on AI too lazily.
