Kyle here 👋,
Firstly thank you for grabbing my AI Business Playbook (some people call it a course, because it’s that comprehensive. You’ll find that out very shortly).
This playbook will help you bridge the gap between AI (the new thing) and entrepreneurship (the since old as time thing).
But a word of warning. You can approach this playbook in two ways.
You can get overly intellectual. Obsess about how the AI works (I get it, I love this stuff).
Or you can get hands-on. As entrepreneurs it’s our full time job to look for leverage — how can I get more, by doing less. And you’ll soon find out why I am a strong advocate for AI Entrepreneurship — because AI gives us immense leverage.
That’s why I’ve written all my playbooks (there’re over 80 now) in such a way that it:
- starts at the beginning (in both business skills needed and AI application)
- moves you through more advance steps (again in terms of business skills and AI)
- let’s you walk the walk every step of the way (this is where the magic will happen!)
This and every playbook is based on my personal — research, documentation and experience. And 15-years in entrepreneurship.
Ok now you know:
- What the playbook will help you do (become an AI Entrepreneur)
- How to use it (don’t intellectualise, just get stuck in)
- What to expect (beginner to advance AI entrepreneurship guides)
Don’t wait around for AI skills to fall into your lap. Make it happen!
Let’s get started!
Introduction
What’s included in this briefing:
➕ The secret to online business success (that I discovered the surprising way in Nepal)
➕ Top 11 Prompt techniques (that puts
you in the top 10% of all AI-users)
➕ My hard earned ‘Talk to AI Fast Framework’ (that I spent 100’s of hours refining so you don’t have to)
➕ And much more!
Let’s get started:
Hey if you’re a regular reader of mine, you can skip this part.
We know each other already 😉!
But if you are new here…I’m super happy your joining us.
Here’s a quick intro:
My names Kyle!
I’m obsessed with AI ‘n’ Entrepreneurship.
I write for 50,000 entrepreneurs.
Create educational videos online for 150,000 entrepreneurs.
Create AI Business playbooks (there’s over 80 of them now).
Publish books (8 have become Amazon Best Sellers).
Train teams around the world (for some of the biggest companies in the world).
Train people just like you, how to become AI trainers in your own right.
Everything I do is linked to either AI or Entrepreneurship, normally both.

But, if you think (I was born making videos about AI online, talking to over 200,000 a playbook
I hit a rough patch (understatement).
Let’s rewind the clock about 15-years.
I was a multi-multi-millionnaire.
Was finishing up my MBA in a fancy New York Uni.
And lived here (this is the actual photo)…

And just as I thought my life was set…I got divorced!
And lost everything…
Ended up in a 1-bed (and not much else) apartment in China (yes China).
And was broken by crippling depression.

I (thankfully) came across a book by Tim Ferriss (you might have heard of him) called — THE 4-HOUR WORK WEEK.
I had nothing to loose. I followed Tim’s advice to the letter.
And it worked!
I was making money on the internet (selling Chinese character posters).
And caught the bug!
Since then I’ve started 30+ businesses, sold a few and ran a ‘lifestyle’ digital agency.
What’s that cliché…life was good.
Until (you didn’t think it was anything else was going to go wrong did you?…well it did…)
We were launching a new business. We invested 6-months of time, money and energy into what was going to be a sure bet (we had tested it over 2-years…people really liked it!)…
And then on the week of launch (advertising locked and ready, team in place…)
Our key business partner dropped us the one piece of news we were never expecting…
He told us he’d been diagnosed with cancer.
There was no debate needed…he had to focus entirely on healing.
We had to figure out what to do next…
And for the second time…I hit a rough patch (another understatement…if you’re ever on one of my live-webinars, I’ll tell you how rough it really got).
Needless to say…I had to once again channel my inner Tim Ferriss…
But this time another dude showed up with the answers — Sam Altman.
He unleashed onto the world — ChatGPT.
And my life hasn’t been the same since…I (admittedly) became obsessed with AI. Combined with my 15-years in entrepreneurship, I started the popular ‘Prompt Entrepreneur’ AI education newsletter.
Within a year: I built an audience of 200k, hit a quarter of a million in revenue, was featured in Forbes and flown out to train teams of 150+ on how to use AI.
And more importantly have dedicated myself full-time to bringing you the very best in AI Entrepreneurship and Business Education.
Get started with this playbook.
If you like what you see, I’ve got over 80 more just like this one waiting for you.
And a WhatsApp group where you can chat with other AI Entrepreneurs from around the world.
If that sounds cool then go here: https://promptentrepreneur.thrivecart.com/ai-entrepreneurs-group-chat/
Until then…keep prompting,
Kyle.
PS — I drop daily videos on TikTok about AI and Entrepreneurship, see you there.
PPS — If you want to learn how to do AI Automations go here. If you want to learn how to become an AI authority online go here. If you want to get paid $1-4k an hour training businesses how to use AI go here.
Always wanted to start a business? Or try again? I’ve got Good News!
I’ve not met you (probably) but let me have a guess why you’re here - you’ve always wanted to start a business but for one reason or another it’s never panned out.
You are doing well in your job and know that you could probably sail through life and do alright. But you feel that there’s something more.
You yearn to have more control of your time and life. Building something for yourself that you’re proud of - a business that not only pays for your lifestyle but is genuinely enjoyable.
- you have lots of ideas (too many!) but haven’t quite started any of them
- you have started a business but it didn’t take off
In the first case we’re often blocked by the concern that we’re not good enough. What if I choose the wrong idea? What if it goes wrong?
There’s a level of fear that is stopping you from getting started. Instead you study more. Plan more. Prepare more. Hoping that one day you’ll be ready.
In the second case you’ve got started but got overwhelmed by the complexity of the task. Starting a business is hard. Starting a successful business is even harder!
This can manifest in many ways. Confused by the technology. Not sure if you are following the right processes. Worried that your time investment won’t lead to a return on investment.
If you can relate to either (or both) of these roadblocks you are in the right place. Both are extremely common - know that you are not alone.
Here’s the good news - with the right framework building your first business does not need to be overwhelming.
The secret I discovered (the hard way) to business success
15 years ago I had recently divorced, broke and clinically depressed. I decided to pack it all in and move to Asia - as one does!
I figured if I was going to be divorced, broke and depressed I may as well do it in another country so I could learn the language as something useful to do!
I moved out to Beijing and ended up living there for 2 years.
During this time I tried out a number of businesses - all online because it wasn’t easy for a UK citizen to start a business in China.
I had read Tim Ferris’ excellent The Four Hour Workweek and was inspired to rebuild my life following that ideal of location independent, online business. Making money in expensive countries like the US whilst spending it in cheaper countries like China and South East Asia.
One worked.
And that’s all I need: one success.
I knew it would work when I took a trip by train from Beijing to Tibet, a 2 week car journey through Tibet to Nepal, 2 weeks meditating and doing yoga in Nepal and then flying on to a friends’ wedding in Mumbai.
All with very limited internet.
But with the business running on autopilot without me being there.
After the trip I came out richer than I had been when I first set out - despite having very little ability to work on the business whilst away.
This for me was an a-ha moment!
And this a-ha moment probably saved my life.
After that point I began to consult and teach others on how to start, run and grow online businesses.
I’ve been helping first time entrepreneurs for over a decade to start their own online business.
Or give online business another try!
But what about AI?
This course is not just about online business but specifically online business using AI.
Since the public release of ChatGPT in November 2022 we’ve entered a new paradigm of online business. AI affects all aspects of online business and is the most critically important development since the internet.
As such it’s important that any business we build now takes full advantage of these new technologies.
This is no longer optional.
You may have heard the phrase “AI won’t take your job, someone using AI will”.
This is true for business owners too: “AI won’t take your customers, other companies using AI will”
We’re about to have a split between those using AI and those who are not.
This happened when the internet was a new “thing”. Some companies and industries embraced the world wide web whilst others stuck their heads in the sand.
Remember travel agencies? Places where we used to go and physically buy plane tickets and book trips? Mad huh. Not so many of them any more right? But the travel agents who went online - the Kayaks, SkyScanners and Expedias of the world - are doing pretty darn well.
This also means huge opportunities though.
If you are willing to embrace, live and breathe AI then the world of business really opens up.
Previously first time business owners had to be:
- market researcher
- strategist
- brand designer
- web designer
- eCommerce integrator
- content creator
- social media manager
- sales rep
- customer service
- accountant
- bookkeeper
- and more
It’s a LOT of hats to wear. A lot of learning to do. A lot of areas for one person to cover.
AI has changed the game here - with one simple phrase used in ChatGPT: “act as”.
If I need a social media manager:
Act as an expert social media manager
Compile a 30 day social media calendar for my business TikTok accountIf I need a sales rep:
Act as a hotshot sales rep
Write an email response to this prospect who has said they'll get back to me in 6 months
We suddenly have teams of experts at our finger tips.
We just need to know the right things to say to the AI to get the results we need.
This is what I’ll be showing you in this course.
Now the part that I don’t like - talking about myself!
But it’s important so you know where I’m coming from.
Online business and working for myself saved my life 15 years ago and I sincerely believe running your own ship can be life changing for everyone.
I’ve always been naturally entrepreneurial - starting my first “business” at the tender age of 11 selling pirated video games on Yahoo Auctions. Until I got in trouble. I’m proud of my pre-puberty cease and desist letter!
My first actual business was co-founding Vietnam’s first private television station.
Fresh out of university I was young and stupid enough to not realise this was quite a big deal.
And with that (somewhat misguided) mindset it actually got done. Like Henry Ford once said: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t - you’re right”.
Within 9 months we were on air. A little later I sold my portion of the company and moved from Vietnam to NYC.
In New York I decided I should probably learn about this whole business stuff properly and so headed off to get my MBA at NYU Stern.
I quite quickly realised that MBAs weren’t very useful for the sort of business I wanted to start. Instead MBAs are great for people climbing the corporate ladder or those raising millions in VC cash.
It was a great experience and the academic knowledge from one of the top ten business schools in the world was top class. But it wasn’t very “helpful” for starting businesses that allowed me to keep control of my life.
Since then I’ve lived primarily back in my hometown of London, interspersed with lots of travelling.
Work has been building companies, buying companies, selling companies, consulting and educating - all in the realm of online business and digital marketing.
Until AI reared its head end of 2022 - especially ChatGPT.
It’s hard to describe the potential impact of AI, more so because we’re in the midst of the transition.
But to compare it to the advent of electricity, the computer or more recently the internet is not hyperbole.
AI will change everything. It already is.
This is very true in the world of online business and digital marketing. These information based fields are already highly online and so are most ripe for disruption by AI technologies.
Seeing the writing on the wall I threw myself fully into the study and application of AI tools in business.
I now write the Prompt Entrepreneur newsletter, publishing around 10,000+ words of AI business guides per week.
I’ve also written 8 books (as of the time of publishing this - it changes rapidly!) that have all become Amazon bestsellers.

This course is a combination of my decades in entrepreneurship, teaching online business and the new AI tools now at our disposal.

Why start your first business now OR try again
The best time to start your online business is right now.
Don't wait for the "perfect" moment or hold off until you feel 100% ready. The truth is, there will always be reasons not to start - you'll never feel completely prepared and if you wait for the stars to align, you may end up waiting forever.
Years pass by and they never make the first move.
Don’t be that person.
Starting now is critical because in business, it's always a yellow light.
Opportunities don't announce themselves with a big fleshing green light saying "Start Now!" More often, they appear as yellow lights, signalling the chance to move forward if you have the courage. Don't sit idle waiting for a perfect green light - be ready to take action on the yellow.
Sometimes we need to be a little dumb just so we can get started. It’s easy to over intellectualise and plan. But this is just procrastination.
Instead embrace stupid like in this excellent ad from Diesel jeans:

Smart critiques, Stupid creates. So get out of your head and actually do something!
It's completely normal to feel uncertainty and doubt when starting a business. You will inevitably hit roadblocks and difficulties, no matter how ready you think you are.
This is why having a supportive community is so valuable during the startup phase - lean on others for motivation and advice when challenges arise.
Striving for perfection will only lead to analysis paralysis and procrastination. Take an iterative approach - start small, make mistakes, learn, and progress. As the saying goes, no plan survives first contact with the enemy. Adaptability is key.
Online businesses also have the advantage of easy evolution. For example, my Chinese language teaching business originally started with physical posters that were mailed internationally.
These posters were A0 sized: massive. Here’s one in a US elementary school:

Because the posters were so large they were also incredibly long, heavy and fragile - an absolute logistical nightmare.
I learned from this mistake and pivoted to digital PDFs that students could print themselves. I dropped the price 3x but increased the profits 30x.
It was a simple adaptation but made a huge difference. The point is - don't be afraid to start, even if your original idea needs tweaking. You can and will adjust as you learn.
Finally, there's an urgent reason to start now - artificial intelligence.
While AI will assist us in building businesses, it also threatens many traditional 9-5 jobs. AI automation is already displacing roles and will only accelerate.
By starting your own online business, you take charge and can benefit from technological advances rather than be vulnerable to them. Don't leave your livelihood up to an employer's whims about whether to embrace or resist AI.
Overcome these fears and you’ll be unstoppable!
Now obviously all of this doesn’t change the fact that creating and shipping a product first time can be scary.
Here are the most common fears blocking you from achieving the success YOU want:
Fear #1 “I’m not good enough”
This is a fear of not having enough expertise or skills. Here’s the thing: you don’t need to be the best.
You need to focus less on yourself and more on what needs other people have. Then match this to what value you can offer.
I’ll be providing a framework for you to work through that helps you do this.
We’ll intentionally focus on keeping your first online business manageable and achievable. From there you can launchpad to bigger, more ambitious projects if you so desire.
Fear #2 “Nobody will buy from me”
This is a fear of failure, worrying that the business will not succeed and you will lose time and money invested.
I won’t guarantee people will buy.
Odds on they won’t.
But you adjust what you are selling until they do!
The way we’ll be building and launching products is designed specifically to help you hone in on product-market fit and to make each launch incrementally better than the last. And we’ll structure each launch so that there’s minimal time and money invested
Fear #3 “Somebody else is doing my idea already”
This is fear of competition.
Here’s a mind-bender : competition is a good thing. Huh, why?
Competition means that a market exists.
I’d much rather face competition risk than market risk.
If a market exists you can find a space in it against competitors. We’ll discuss how.
If the market doesn’t exist then you’ll have no customers. Game over.
So you always want markets that have existing companies. You want competition
Fear #4 “I don’t know how to do this.”
This is fear of the unknown.
Stepping into the unfamiliar world of entrepreneurship can be daunting. Doing something new is always scary!
We want to be good at everything we do. And when we do something new guess what - we’re not good at it!
Embracing a growth mindset means knowing that as a beginner you’ll be rubbish but deciding to push through this until you (sorta!) know what you’re doing.
This course will aid this process by giving you a tried and tested framework and a support community.
Fear #5 “I don’t want to be alone.”
This is fear of isolation.
Leaving a regular job can mean losing colleagues and a daily routine.
This is very true - but you’ll get to meet a new set of peers, all working on themselves and their businesses.
You’ll build your own tribe, surrounded by people with similar goals and aspirations.
How to start meeting these people? Right in the community that comes with this course! Come find your allies.
Fear #6 “I’m not technical. “
This is a self-limiting belief generally but even if actually true you’re in luck!
We’re in the heyday of no-code tools and AI technologies that you operate by chatting. Can you work Whatsapp? You can work ChatGPT.
When I started online business it was necessary to know HTML/CSS and maybe some Python.
Don’t know what those are? You don’t need to.
Everything is much more accessible nowadays and built so that anyone with an hour to learn can operate powerful online business tools.
Fear #7 “I’ll lose everything”
This is fear of financial risk.
Worrying about investing capital without a guaranteed return is legit.
With traditional businesses this is a valid risk. Taking out a building lease for 3 years, buying equipment, hiring staff etc. is highly risky.
Hundreds of thousands are spent before making your first dollar. You need the business to work or you’ll be ruined.
To me - that’s a dumb way to start a business.
Thankfully online business - at least following the path I’ll show you - is not like that.
We intentionally only spend cash when we know there is a return. And all our initial steps will be time focused rather than cash focused.
Fear #8 “It’s not safe”.
This is a fear of losing security.
Giving up a stable income from employment is hard.
I like to say that the most addictive drugs are i) heroin ii) cocaine and iii) a stable 9-5 paycheck.
I never recommend anyone quit their day job to start a fresh business.
Instead build alongside your stable income and when your business is cash-flowing the same (or more) than your 9-5 go ahead and drop the job.
You can also segue by shifting to part time as a mid-step to further de-risk the journey.
If you are a recently graduated student with no outgoings, living at home and with time on your hands then by all means go full time on your business.
The good news is that the steps outlined in this framework can be performed regardless of your situation.
If you work on this business full time then obviously you will move faster than someone working 9-5 - that’s just maths.
But if you have just an hour a day you can progress and build a business asset that will eventually give you greater security.
Fear #9 “I’ll be overwhelmed”
This is fear of the workload.
Many have concerns about the demands of managing everything themselves. As a first time business owner you will initially be wearing a lot of hats.
There will be a lot to do upfront. But at least you are in control of the work and your success.
And as we move further down the process we will increasingly automate and systematise. Because we’re building from scratch using online tools and using AI our ability to systematise is high. All these tools can be easily automated.
In fact Module 5 is specifically about setting up these automations so that we have time and energy to scale.
Fear #10 I’ll lose my life.
This is the fear of losing work-life balance.
Entrepreneurship can be all-consuming. This is true.
But arguably not a bad thing.
I find myself always jotting down notes for projects I want to work on.
Even on the beach -or especially on the beach!
But this is in part because entrepreneurship is fun. When you are doing something you love for work the idea of “work-life balance” ceases to make sense.
It’s all life.
This isn’t to say that you shouldn’t take breaks - you definitely need to reward yourself.
Thankfully owning an online business allows you to do so easily - travelling the world, taking breaks and living wherever you want is much easier when you don’t to worry about limited holiday days, an office to go to and expected 9-5 hours!
Let’s take you from Zero to AI Hero
We’ve all built automatic habits. Everything from driving a manual gear-shift car right through to opening the X (Twitter) app every time you pick up your phone (guilty!).
I want you to to use AI in the same way.
But don’t worry I won’t have you downloading the ‘Top 10 AI apps this week”.
I want you to get started with just one - ChatGPT by OpenAI.
Later through the course I’ll introduce you to a handful of other tools that do things that ChatGPT can’t.
For now - ChatGPT.
Discover the most valuable skill on planet earth today
In this course we’re taking some time out to delve into the world of prompt engineering.
Prompt engineering underlies everything that we do here at Prompt Entrepreneur so consider this a ‘crash-course’.
My goal is always to move newbies as quickly as possible through this chart, avoiding the dreaded betrayed confidence dip! This Prompt Engineering 101 guide will accelerate your AI knowledge 10x.

If AI and prompting is new to you this will be a primer in the basics. I won’t get deep into the theory because, frankly, we don’t need it for anything practical.
Instead we’ll be covering topics that will make you a better prompt engineer and therefore a better Prompt Entrepreneur.
If you know this stuff already I’d say it’s still worth the recap. And you may even pick up some tips and tricks.
Let’s kick off with some definitions so we’re all on the same page.
The next time someone asks “What is AI?” you’ll become the expert in the room with this…
What is AI? Woof. Hard first question. But let’s have a shot.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to computer systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, and decision-making.
AI encompasses a wide range of technologies from basic software to cutting-edge techniques like machine learning and natural language processing.
AIs come in different flavours:
- ANI - Artificial Narrow Intelligence
- AGI - Artificial General Intelligence
- ASI - Artificial Super Intelligence
Right now all our AIs are Narrow. They perform specific narrow tasks that they are built for.
Artificial General Intelligence is an AI that can perform any task we throw at it - and if it doesn’t know how to it’ll work it out.
Artificial Super Intelligence is when we get an AI that has more intelligence than every human on earth put together.
Ok now you’re just showing off…
Generative AI is a subfield of AI focused on generating new content, such as images, videos, text, 3D objects, and more.
Examples include text generators like ChatGPT, image generators like Midjourney, and 3D model generators.
The key aspect is that generative AI creates novel, original outputs, rather than just analyzing inputs. This is what distinguishes it from other AIs.
We’re seeing new generative AIs all the time. The biggie is obviously ChatGPT. But there are many others.
I’m not a technical person, don’t know how to code - can I use AI?
You can. By PROMPTING.
Prompts are the text instructions that users provide to generative AI systems to tell them what kind of output to generate. For example, "Write a poem about the British countryside" or "Generate an image of a cyberpunk city."
Carefully engineering prompts is key to guiding the AI to create high-quality results.
Prompts start as text but can help us generate imagery, audio and video.
Here for example I used the prompt “Disney Snow White, [country name], photorealistic” to create a thread about Snow Whites from all over the world:
Taking it up a level and putting you in the top 20%
Understanding Prompt engineering.
This is the process of iteratively refining and optimizing prompts to get the best possible output from an AI system. It involves strategically structuring prompts, providing relevant context, and giving clear instructions to guide the AI. Prompt engineering is key to utilizing generative AI effectively.
If you use the prompt “write a blog article about yoga” the result will be crap.
ChatGPT (or whichever tool you use) will create a generic version of that blog post.
It will read like an AI wrote it.
However if we adjust our prompt to something like this:
Act as an SEO expert blog writer with extensive yoga experience
Outline 5 tips, moving from beginner to advanced for improving yoga through self study. Create a yoga themed acronymn for the 5 part framework.
Use the AIDA copywriting framework.
Each tip should include between 3-5 steps.
End with a call to action to sign up to the newsletter.
Provide references and additional resources
Create internal links between articles.
Each article should be 1000-1500 words long. The resulting output will be far superior.
Top 11 Prompting Techniques
There’s a huge range of prompting techniques. Here are some of the most useful:
- Instruction Prompts: Giving clear step-by-step instructions to guide the AI
- Role Prompting: Asking the AI to respond as a specific persona or character
- Few Shot Prompting: Providing examples to illustrate the desired output
- Priming: Setting an initial context to shape the conversation
- Embedding Prompts: Importing knowledge and logic from an external source
- Chaining: Breaking down complex prompts into a series of smaller prompts
- Constraining: Adding constraints to reduce undesired responses
- Human Feedback: Iteratively collecting human judgments to refine the prompt
- Checklisting: Providing a checklist to verify quality and completeness
- Simplifying: Reducing prompt complexity to isolate issues
- Dialogue: Conversing with the AI to guide it interactively
Over the course of this course you’ll get to try out all these techniques. But not theoretically. In practice. On your OWN business.
Cheat Sheet
Taking it up another level and putting you in the top 10%
There’s a lot to remember here so I always make it easy for my Prompt Entrepreneur’s.
Use the RISEN method:
- Role - What persona should the AI adopt?
- Instructions - What clear directions are you giving?
- Steps - Are there numbered steps to follow?
- End goal - What is the desired output?
- Narrowing - What constraints are you adding?
For example:
Act as a master chef. (Role)
Give me a 5 step recipe for baked chicken breast. (Instructions)
1. tell me the ingredients needed
2. the steps to prepare
3. cooking instructions
(steps)
Give me everything in a checklist (End goal)
Keep these constraints in mind:
-Use only common ingredients
-Include approximate cooking times and temperatures
-Keep the recipe under 500 words
-Do not include any complicated techniques
-Focus just on the core recipe steps
(Narrowing)The RISEN framework provides a structured way to build prompts that guide the AI to high-quality responses tailored to your needs.
Apply it to your tasks to immediately see improvements across the board.
Yes, your prompts will take longer to write but the results will propel you immediately from an amateur to an intermediate user.
Again you’ll have a chance to use these on your OWN business.
